Maryland State Park Campgrounds With Electric Sites (2026)
Maryland Park Service lists electric campsites at 17 state park and state forest campgrounds, from Deep Creek Lake and New Germany in Garrett County to Assateague on the Atlantic coast. For 2026, DNR's published electric-site rate runs from $24.50 to $38.50 a night. Most parks charge $27.50, the cheapest are Cedarville State Forest Campground, Martinak State Park Campground, Patapsco Valley State Park Campground and Pocomoke River State Park Campground, and Assateague State Park Campground is the most expensive. A non-electric standard site at the same parks is usually $21.50. Elk Neck State Park Campground, Swallow Falls State Park Campground and Point Lookout State Park Campground also offer full hookups with water and sewer at some sites. 3 campgrounds keep at least part of their loops open year-round (Elk Neck State Park Campground, Janes Island State Park Campground and New Germany State Park Campground), and the rest are seasonal. These are DNR's base nightly rates; DNR notes that transaction and other fees are extra, and cabin, group and equestrian sites are priced separately. Book through the Maryland Park Service reservation system and confirm the electric loop's open dates for your trip.
