Winter cabin rules in Georgia

Georgia State Parks runs its cabins and cottages as one system, so these details apply park-wide. GA State Parks says all cabins have heat and air conditioning, and many have wood-burning fireplaces or stoves. Firewood, paper towels and dish soap are typically not provided. Rates range from around $85 to $250 per night, depending on location, season and size, and there is no separate cleaning fee.

Reservations can be made up to 13 months in advance (14 months for Georgia residents). Designated dog-friendly cabins are available; check the pet policy for the cabin you pick. A winter tip: seniors 62 and older get 20% off cottage rates Sunday – Thursday from December 1 to March 31 (one cottage per stay, booked in the senior's name). Because the heat statement covers the whole system, the cards below add park-level details only where the park lists them.

How we check: a cabin is listed only if an official park source says it is heated and rented in winter. Anything the park doesn't state is shown as "Not listed". Checked October 26, 2026; confirm details when you book. Georgia: heat comes from GA State Parks' system-wide statement that all cabins have heat and air conditioning; winter rental is shown by its seniors' cottage discount (Sun – Thu, December 1 – March 31).

"Pets allowed" and "Bathroom" only match listings where the park states it. Parks often allow pets in only some cabins.
